Use ARK Connect on your mobile and desktop
Take your extension anywhere, keep your mobile number private, and stop the app ringing at midnight.

- 1Install the app we've told you to use and sign in with the credentials we sent.
- 2Allow microphone and notification permissions — without notifications, incoming calls won't ring reliably on mobile.
- 3Make a test call and check both people can hear clearly.
- 4On iPhone and Android, disable battery optimisation for the app so the system doesn't shut it down in the background.
Handy behaviour to know
- Outbound calls from the app show your business number, not your personal mobile.
- Your desk phone and app ring together by default — answer on whichever suits.
- Set Do Not Disturb in the app at the end of the day, or ask us to apply an out-of-hours rule so it happens automatically.
- On poor mobile data, calls sound choppy. Wi-Fi calling through the app is usually better than 4G in a weak-signal building.
