Infrastructure Projects
Infrastructure Projects
The physical stuff: cabling, switches, Wi-Fi, cameras, door entry, AV, tills and bespoke machines. Surveyed first, installed tidily, and written down so the next person can follow it.
Infrastructure
What we install
A surprising number of 'the computer is slow' calls turn out to be a bad cable run or a switch in a cupboard with no ventilation. A cable run, switch or access point in the wrong place can cause problems long after an installation is finished, so we survey the site before deciding what goes where.
Structured cabling & networks
Cabling, comms cabinets, managed switches and Wi-Fi that reaches the warehouse as well as the office. Guest and camera traffic kept off your main network.
Managed Wi-Fi
We survey the building first, then work out where the access points need to go. Thick-walled buildings, big units and multi-building sites are where the router from the broadband provider gives up.
CCTV & door access
Cameras that record on site, video door entry and access control, with fobs you can cancel the day someone leaves.
AV and signage
Audio where you need it, screens and digital signage, and meeting rooms that work without a shelf full of remotes.
EPOS & till systems
Setup and support for retail and hospitality tills, plus the network and backup behind them so a busy Saturday doesn't become a paper-and-pen day.
Keeping the network tidy
Splitting the network up so a cheap camera or an old printer can't be used as a way into everything else.
Bespoke builds
Workstations, servers, NAS units and racks, built and tested here for a couple of days before they go anywhere near your office.
Storage on site
NAS units, backup appliances and archive storage sized around how much you keep and how far back you need to go.
How we work
Survey first, cable second
Every project starts with someone walking the site and a written plan you can actually read. Far cheaper than finding out once the walls are open.
- We come and look at the site
- A written plan with the kit list and the costs
- We talk to your builders and electricians directly
- Cables, ports and cabinets labelled, and the layout recorded
- Documentation handed over, and we show you how it works
- Support afterwards if you want it
