Overview

This policy explains how ARK Assist & Support Ltd collects, uses, shares and protects personal data through our websites (arkassist.co.uk and arkconnect.co.uk), our client portal and online shop, and the IT, communications and support services we provide.

It covers two different roles. For our own website visitors, enquirers, customer contacts and suppliers we are the data controller. When we manage IT systems on a customer's behalf — mailboxes, devices, networks, security tooling — we act as a data processor for that customer under a contract, and their own privacy notice governs how their staff and clients' data is used.

Who we are

Personal data we collect

Why we use it and our lawful bases

Who we share it with

Cookies and advertising measurement

We show a cookie consent banner to every visitor, wherever they are, so they can accept or reject advertising and analytics cookies. Rejecting is presented as prominently and takes as few clicks as accepting, and nothing optional is loaded or stored until consent is given. Where a visitor rejects these cookies, we still load Google Ads measurement but no personal data is stored or used for remarketing; only modeled, non-identifiable measurement is available.

Where consent is given, we use Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They help us see how many people who click our adverts go on to build an estimate, request a quote, send a contact form or call us, and let us show follow-up adverts to people who have used our pricing calculator. Those platforms may receive a one-way hashed version of an email address or phone number, only where the visitor has given us those details and accepted marketing cookies, to improve matching. We do not share unhashed email addresses, phone numbers or other personal data with them for advertising purposes. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at [business.safety.google/privacy](https://business.safety.google/privacy/).

You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time by selecting "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. That reopens the banner, deletes advertising cookies already set and removes advertising identifiers held in your browser. We also re-ask for consent roughly every six months so your choice stays current.
