Set up your ARK Connect desk handset
Unbox, connect and register a handset, and what to do if it won't provision.

- 1Connect the handset's LAN port to a network socket with the cable supplied.
- 2If your desk has one network socket, plug the PC into the handset's PC port and the handset into the wall.
- 3Power it — most handsets take power over the network cable; use the supplied adapter if yours doesn't.
- 4Leave it alone for two or three minutes while it downloads its configuration and any firmware update.
- 5When the display shows your name and extension, make a test call to another extension, then to a mobile.
If it doesn't register
- No network at all: try the cable and socket with a laptop to confirm the socket is live.
- Stuck on 'provisioning' or 'no service': power it off for 30 seconds and back on.
- Registered but no audio one way: that's almost always a firewall or router setting — raise a ticket, don't keep rebooting.
Tell us the handset's MAC address (printed on the underside) when you raise a ticket. It lets us look up exactly what that device is doing.
