ARK Connect (phones)

How your pooled minutes work

Licence allowances are added together across your whole account, not fixed per user.

Last reviewed 20 August 2026

Each ARK Connect licence includes a monthly call allowance. Those allowances are additive: they go into one pool that everyone on your account draws from.

So if you have ten licences each carrying an allowance, you have ten times that allowance shared across the business. A receptionist who spends all day on the phone and a warehouse extension that rarely rings simply balance each other out.

  • The pool resets each month and doesn't roll over.
  • Calls beyond the pool are charged at our standard rates — we'll always tell you if you're regularly running over.
  • Mobile and landline destinations covered by the allowance are set out in your plan; premium, international and non-geographic numbers sit outside it.
Consistently exceeding the pool usually means a different plan mix would be cheaper. Ask us for a review rather than absorbing the overage.

Common questions

Do unused minutes carry over to next month?
No — the pool resets monthly.
Can we mix plan types?
Yes. Heavy users can sit on a larger plan while occasional users take a smaller one, and everything still pools.
