Getting a new computer set up
What we do before a machine reaches you, and the ten minutes of setup left at your end.

Devices we supply arrive configured: joined to your tenant, encrypted, protected, patched and with your standard applications installed.
Your part
- 1Sign in with your work email address and password.
- 2Approve the MFA prompt to register the device.
- 3Wait for OneDrive to finish its first sync before you start moving files around.
- 4Open Outlook and Teams once to complete their first-run setup.
- 5Check printers appear and print a test page.
Don't copy files off the old machine manually. Tell us what's on it and we'll move it properly — that's included, and it avoids missing a folder you only remember three weeks later.
Old device: hand it back to us. It gets securely wiped and either re-issued or disposed of responsibly, and we'll remove it from billing.
