As of the 14th January 2020, Microsoft’s support for Windows 7 has now ended. This means that no more software updates or security fixes will be issued, and although the system will continue to function, anyone still using the operating system will be leaving themselves vulnerable to security threats such as malware.
Windows 7 was first released over ten years ago and users should upgrade their machines to a more modern operating system such as Windows 10 or purchase a new computer.
